Klause pulls off a sensual story about the supernatural without making it seem cheesy. But still, a book to be devoured by romance enthusiasts like me.

Gabriel accidentally shifted in front of his human girlfriend and, annettee both panicked, he accidentally killed her. Vivian goes to meet Aiden and try to get him out of danger, while Gabriel, Willem, and Ulf go to gather the pack so they can be there when Judgment is passed on Astrid.

Not to mention the incredibly inappropriate relationship between Vivian and Gabriel, the year-old head of her clan.
